Material:

1, 304 stainless steel is austenitic stainless steel, a common material in stainless steel (SUS304 stainless steel is the name of Japan, 304 stainless steel is the name of the United States, and it is called 0Cr18Ni9 in my country), containing 19% chromium, containing Nickel is 9% and the density is 7.93 g/cm3.


2, 316 stainless steel is austenitic stainless steel, molybdenum is added to 304 stainless steel. 316 stainless steel has an average nickel content of 12% compared to 304's average nickel content of 9%, so the price will be more expensive than 304 stainless steel.


3,430 is ferritic stainless steel, 430 16Cr, as representative steel of ferritic steel, has low thermal expansion rate, excellent formability, and oxidation resistance. 304 stainless steel contains about 8% nickel and 430 does not contain nickel. 304 has better corrosion resistance and toughness than 430, and 430 is hardenable stainless steel with higher hardness after quenching.


Application:


1,304 stainless steel is universal stainless steel, high-temperature resistance of 800 ℃, good processing performance, high toughness characteristics, it is widely used to make equipment and parts that require good comprehensive performance (corrosion resistance and formability). In order to maintain the inherent corrosion resistance of stainless steel, steel must contain more than 18% chromium and more than 8% nickel. It is suitable for food processing, storage, and transportation. Has good processing properties and weldability. Plate heat exchangers, bellows, household products (category 1, 2 tableware, cabinets, indoor pipelines, water heaters, boilers, bathtubs), auto parts (windshield wipers, mufflers, molded products), medical appliances, building materials, chemicals, food industry, Agriculture, ship parts, etc. 304 stainless steel is a nationally recognized food-grade stainless steel.


2. 316 stainless steel is added with molybdenum, which has better corrosion resistance and heat resistance. It is mainly used in the food industry and medical equipment. Moreover, 316 stainless steel has a remarkable feature, that is, there is basically no thermal expansion and cooling. The phenomenon of shrinkage is extremely important for precision parts. We often choose 304 stainless steel for curtain walls, sidewalls, and roofs, but in some severely corrosive industries or marine atmospheres, 316 stainless steel is a good choice.
