Application Of Stainless Steel Wire In Kitchen Equipment

Kitchenware companies are mainly distributed in the southern region, Zhejiang and Shandong Boxing regions. The southern region is mainly concentrated in Foshan's Shunde, Jiangmen, Jieyang and Chaozhou Caitang areas. Among them, Shandong Boxing and Yunfu Xinxing County are the famous domestic hometowns of stainless steel kitchenware and kitchenware production and export bases. The production of stainless steel sinks in Shunde and Jiangmen in Foshan is relatively concentrated, and some kitchen supplies companies are scattered in Shanghai and Zhejiang.


Kitchen equipment can be classified according to the application field and can be divided into: public kitchen equipment (industrial products)-mainly refers to the use of kitchen equipment as a production tool to produce products for use or consumption. For example: catering equipment used in hotels, restaurants, and government canteens. Chinese and Western kitchen equipment (uses)-mainly based on the different processed meals and artificially divided into Chinese and Western kitchen equipment. Household kitchen equipment (consumer goods)-Mainly families or small groups use kitchen equipment to meet their own consumption needs.


The apparent consumption of stainless steel in China in 2007 was 6.58 million tons. The usage of the hardware industry is about 1.26 million tons. According to statistics, there are more than 200 enterprises producing stainless steel sinks in the country, of which there are more than 80 in Shunde, Foshan, with a monthly consumption of about 3,000 tons; and more than 20 in Siqian Town, Jiangmen, with a monthly consumption of about 2,000 tons. The earliest stainless steel used in the production of water tanks was 304. In recent years, due to the relatively high price of 304 and the large price fluctuations, the materials used have gradually shifted to 200 series. At present, most companies generally use 201. The materials come from Lianzhong, private narrow strip factories and reformed rolling plant. Common specifications are 0.4-0.8mm in thickness and 300-800mm in width.


Stainless steel used in kitchen products mainly includes 304, 430, 201, 202, etc., which generally require high product surface and mechanical properties. For example, the materials used in sinks and pots require particularly high deep drawing performance. At present, 201 is used more. Due to the high price, the demand for 304 is decreasing year by year, and it is gradually replaced by 201 and 202 products. Since the surface of kitchen equipment is often in contact with sewage and is prone to rust, it requires high surface quality, especially corrosion resistance. Enterprises of kitchen equipment for export or for high-end hotels have very high requirements on the surface of the material, and there should be no surface defects such as sand holes and rust spots. At the same time, it requires good polishing effect, fine grain and high gloss.
