Liugang Stainless Steel Cold Rolling Project Is Planned To Be Completed And Put Into Operation in December 2023

Jun 13, 2022

With an annual output of 480,000 tons, Liugang's stainless steel cold-rolled project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in December 2023

Last month, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission released its review opinions on the energy-saving report of the stainless steel cold-rolling project of Guangxi Liuzhou Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd.

The project is in line with the industrial policy and the industrial development plan of Yulin City, which is conducive to promoting the layout of the upstream and downstream industries of stainless steel and promoting local economic development. According to the "Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Fixed Asset Investment Project Energy.

Conservation Review Measures" (Gui Fa Gai Huan Zi [2017] No. 635), the project energy conservation report is approved in principle. The project code is 2019-450923-31-03-035436, the project construction unit is Guangxi Liugang Zhongjin Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., and the construction site is located in Yulin Longtan Industrial Park, Longgang New District, Guangxi.

The construction scale of the project is an annual output of 480,000 tons of cold-rolled stainless steel products, including 180,000 tons of 2B stainless steel products and 300,000 tons of BA stainless steel products.

The project is to be constructed in two phases, of which the first phase produces 150,000 tons of NO.1 and 2E (as raw materials for the second phase of the project) and 200,000 tons of BA products; the second phase produces 180,000 tons of 2B products and 100,000 tons of BA products.

The main construction content is to build a 3-stand black skin continuous rolling annealing and pickling line, 4 single-stand 20-high cold rolling lines, 1 degreasing line, 8 bright annealing lines, and workshops required for each unit in the first phase. , warehouse, public auxiliary facilities, and other ancillary facilities; in the second phase, it is proposed to build 1 18-high 6-roll continuous rolling mill, 4 single-stand 20-high cold rolling mills, 1 cold strip pickling annealing mill, 12 bright annealing mills, and other Supporting public and auxiliary engineering facilities.

The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in December 2023.
