Mexico Makes A Final Ruling On Anti-dumping Sunset Review Against Chinese Stainless Steel Sinks

On June 7, 2021, the Mexican Ministry of Economic Affairs issued an announcement to make a positive final ruling on the anti-dumping sunset review of stainless steel sinks imported from China (with a weight of no more than 8 kg), and decided to maintain the anti-dumping duties of the products involved. From May 2020 Effective from the 9th, the validity period is 5 years. The TIGIE tax number of the product involved is 7324.10.01. The announcement will take effect the day after the announcement.


On May 8, 2015, Mexico issued an announcement in the official gazette that it made a final anti-dumping ruling on imported stainless steel sinks (with a weight of no more than 8 kg) originating in China. The products involved in the case were imported from Taizhou Luqiao Jixiang Kitchenware Co., Ltd. Anti-dumping duties are levied at US$4.14/kg; anti-dumping duties are levied at US$5.40/kg on imported products from other Chinese companies. On April 30, 2020, Mexico initiated the first anti-dumping sunset review case investigation against Chinese stainless steel sinks. The dumping investigation period of this case is from January 1, 2019, to December 31, 2019, and the damage investigation period is January 1, 2015. January 1 to December 31, 2019.
