Production Process and Feature
The gap between straight coil and seam weld
Straight seam stainless steel industrial welded pipe has easy manufacturing process, higher production efficiency, low cost, and rapid improvement. The strength of the coil stainless steel industrial welded pipe is greater than that of the right seam stainless steel industrial welded pipe. It may produce stainless steel industrial welded pipes with a larger pipe diameter by a thinner blank, and can also use the identical width blank to create stainless steel industrial welded pipes with different pipe diameters. But compared with the right seam pipe of the same span, the weld length is increased by 30-100%, and the production rate is lower.
Large diameter or thick stainless steel industrial welded pipes are usually made directly from steel blanks, whereas little stainless steel industrial welded pipes and thin-walled stainless steel industrial welded pipes just have to be welded straight through steel strips. Then it's simply brushed and polished. Consequently, the bigger diameter stainless steel industrial welded pipes mostly use directly seam welding, and the large diameter stainless steel industrial welded pipes largely use coil welding.
Application
Stainless steel industrial pipes have good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties, and are commonly used in pharmaceutical, chemical, paper, food, air, nuclear industries, etc..
