410 is a martensitic grade (ASTM A276/A479) with 11.5-13.5% chromium. It is hardenable by heat treatment, giving high strength and hardness after quenching and tempering, while keeping reasonable corrosion resistance in mild atmospheres. It is magnetic and cost-effective because it contains no nickel.

We supply 410 bar as round (3-300 mm dia), square, hexagonal and flat, in lengths of 3000-6000 mm. Conditions: annealed, hardened and tempered, or peeled/turned/ground/polished. Pickled and bright-drawn finishes are available for tight-tolerance machined parts.
